OCCUPY FOR ANIMALS! is a legally registered non-for-profit organisation at the service of the animals. OCCUPY FOR ANIMALS! is Tom Animalpastor's official partner for his 2013 campaign "They are our brothers and sisters!" and helps Tom with the organisation of it.



The messages that you send using our contact form go to OCCUPY FOR ANIMALS! and Tom receives a copy of them. Depending on your request, you will receive an answer from either the one, or the other of us. In any case you can be assured that Tom reads, or is being informed, about all messages...



Why does OfA! - a non-political and non-religious organisation - help and support Tom, the Animalpastor?

Because Tom is an INSPIRATION! And because his campaign is neither about politics, nor about religions, but about the animals in the first place. Tom's message is pure. Tom's message is about Love and Respect for ALL beings living.



It doesn't matter if we are Catholic, atheist, or if we believe in any other religion. What is important is THE one thing that we all have in common: a great love for animals, and the strong desire to make a real difference in the way animals are treated in our world. 



Because the people love Tom. And so do we, at OfA!



And - of course - because we want the Catholic Church, as one of the most powerful and opinion-forming religions and institutions in the world, to - at last - declare animals as creatures of God and to spread this message to all its believers. Currently, the Church does not admonish its believers to responsible actions, and the necessity of Christian charity seems to be limited to humans only. The subjects 'animals' and 'environment' are consequently neglected. Not a word about animals in „urbi et orbi“, and not a word about them during the church services.​



In many countries all over the World, with the majority of the population being of catholic belief, billions of animals are abused and tortured every day and the destruction of our planet - the creation of God - goes on irresistibly.


But every life deserves protection, respect and sympathy!​​​

If the Church, the Pope, their Bishops and Priests, would call to save the animals and our nature, there would surely be improvements to the situation, and many Christians are waiting, that „their“ Church - at last - admits to the protection of animals and the environment, and acts that way!



And who better than Tom, the Animalpastor, to bring a personal letter addressed to Pope Francis I, pointing out the importance and responsibility of the Church towards animals, together with a list of signatures and personal messages to Pope Francis I, written by people from all around the world, to Rome?



And - last but not least - because Tom had helped us in October 2012, when he hand-delivered our petition "EU, when do you think it is time to act?" to the European Parliament, in Brussels. Besides the fact that working with Tom is a real pleasure, it's time for us now to return the favor and to help Tom at the best of our abilities to take his message of Love and Respect for ALL living beings to every corner of the globe.

We'd like to translate this little website into as many languages as possible in order to make Tom's message available to as many people as possible. For that, we need the help of volunteers who can help with this important work. Will you be the one to help translating it in your mother tongue or another language that you master to perfection?
